Adding the Scrolling part of the Side Scroller
Next build we will focus on
Loading the challenge dynamically so a level can have several present vines. The player saves one and goes to the next.
Adjust the Camera to move every time one of the challenges are completed. As in other Action side scrollers, the player needs to go near the right side of the screen to start the camera translation.
Merge both changes so a level can be longer horizontally and gave several present vines. One after the other. First I will make one big scene and then, if makes sense, I will dynamically loaded the ground as the player progresses.
The idea is that for each level one Avocado will appear as the Boss. The boss than calls a minion that sabotages the present vine and runs to the next challenge. So every challenge will show the level boss at the beginning, talking to the minion, and then running to the right. The minions will vary visually and their behavior in the challenge.
Hopefully this will be fast enough so I can focus on adding the real puzzles to the game during the day before the end of the jam.
